Will Smith London premiere

It was great to snap Will Smith and his crew in London on February 5,2009. A crowd of approximately 5000 people gathered the see the star and it was great to see him mingle and chat with as many fans as possible including hugging, handshaking and having pictures taken with a group of 20 or so admirers confined to wheelchairs.

News Photography

The French Gendarmerie Nationale are amongst the toughest Police force in the world. These guys sort situations out first then ask questions later ( I suspect they get away with not asking too many questions at all...)
In Paris last February I was on the scene of a number of of civil disputes regarding university fee increases. In one week we saw 3 of these 'manifestations'. The Gendams were not too impressed having their photos taken.
At one gathering near Gare de Nord where tear gas was used against the crowd I saw a photographer have his camera confiscated ( he was given no receipt or documentation).
Around the corner from another protest I came across a full body armour clad Gendam relieving himself against a wall ... I got one slightly blurred shot before he turned and told me to ^%$& off.

Fishing World cover shot .

I'm thrilled to have the cover shot on this months Fishing World, an Australian National monthly fishing magazine. The angler is good mate Andy Beer from Sydney. Fish is a 10 lb Golden Trevally caught on the flats inside Fraser Island. The magazine features a Nick Reygeart article on Flats fishing for Golden Trevally in Hervey Bay and it is a great read.

Look who's caught the big one...

Fraser Coast Chronicle editor Peter Chapman with a solid Hervey Bay Longtail Tuna .... I had been following Peters tales of fishing woe for some time until finally we found a slot in our schedules to get out on the water. It rained all day and the fish were not staying up for long, but fortunately we still managed to boat a few fish including this estimated 15kg longtail. Nice work Peter !!

Welcome
